Hey ya’ll welcome back! I hope you are enjoying this week of subscription bags and boxes. Only one more after today, and I saved my favorite for last! I am still creating and designing my blog so I’m not sure if I will do them all in a week or what, but for now enjoy!
December was the first month I received Ipsy Glam Bag. It’s $10 per month and includes 4-5 samples, and a makeup bag too! This months makeup bag is a pretty hot pink bag with a gold bar that says Ipsy.
It’s a pretty little bag, but the inside is what makes it so wonderful! This month there were 5 samples. The theme for this month is Carpe p.m. All products to use to get ready for a night on the town.
The first sample is a Tarte tarteist glossy lip paint. It’s in the color wcw! It is a pretty poppin lip color. The color is in the berry family, and goes on a nice deep shade, but not too deep because it still has a glossy shine. I love Tarte, and their lip gloss paints are always a nice finishing touch to a glam holiday look. To get your lips ready for Tarte, Ipsy included a sample of hanalei lip treatment. Oh goodness, I love this stuff! It is a kukui nut based oil lip treatment, and it is heavenly! A bit of a warming, if you have nut allergies, please do not use this product. A little bit goes a long way with this product. I usually use it before bed, and when I wake up my lips re soft and smooth. I will be ordering the full size of this lip treatment before my sample is gone.
Also included this month is a primer by MAKE. It’s a glam primer!!!!! I love it. The product comes out of the tube a purplish shade, and turns to a smooth, glossy finish when you apply it. It simmers under your foundation!!! SHIMMERS!!!! I haven’t used any of MAKE’s products, but I will certainly be looking into the full size of this pretty! I love shimmer primers, they give your skin a nice glow under your foundation.
Next we have NYX eyeshadow in Punk Heart, an amethyst shade sure to make your eyes pop! NYX is a great product and very reasonably priced. I can see using this product on the eyelid to bring a pop of color to a glam evening look! The last product in this little bag of Glam is a concealer brush made by Beau Gachis which translates to “beautiful mess.” The brush is soft and the bristles are tight and will be a nice brush for concealer. The handle is sturdy and sits nicely in my hand to use. I don’t know about you, but I can never get enough makeup brushes! Love Love Love!!!
This month’s Glam bag did not leave me disappointed. These products will be a nice treat to get ready for a night out. As a bonus all prodcuts in his bag are cruelty free. YAY!! I’m off today to get my eyebrows done and finish some Christmas shopping. I did get some micelluar water yesterday at Sephora to try out. It seems to be all the rage right now, and I figured I should try it! I’ll keep ya’ll posted on what I think! Come back tomorrow for the review of my last subscription box for the month of December. I’d love to hear from you!
Until next time, I’ll talk to ya’ll later!
